It all started
because I was bored.
I was tired of seeing the same ideas, the same stories, and the same safe versions of what had already been done.
Everything felt drab and dreary. Everyone seemed to be looking backward, nostalgic for a past that never truly existed.
Then one day, I dared to peek into the future and ask what else might be possible.
I was tired in a more personal way.
Artists are expected to hold the vision while also finding the money, building the team, producing the work, growing the audience, marketing the project, and determining how it might become a sustainable business.
I could do it. I had done it. But I did not want to do it all forever — and I did not believe other artists should have to either.
So I started Lily House Studio.
Lily House was created to become the missing structure around the vision: a place where artists can stay close to the thing only they can make, while a Pod is assembled around the work to help it grow.
Because the future does not arrive fully formed. Someone has to dare to see it first. And then we have to build it together.

Lily House Studio is the enduring company. The people, Pods, mediums, and projects can change. The point of view on becoming is what ties the House together.
