After a car accident changes her relationship with movement, filmmaker Jhaynane Bastien travels across the American West, hiking through seven landscapes as she rebuilds strength, self-trust, and a life in motion.

Every season begins with a search.
Season One explores healing.
In Search Of… follows a different search through a different geography each season. For Healing, Jhaynane returns to landscapes that hold earlier versions of her and enters new places to discover what her body and life can hold now.
Travel gives the season its structure. The road opens each chapter. The trail puts recovery into motion. Each place changes the question.
The road gets her there. The trail is the test. Recovery is the story.

Across the American West.
The season moves through seven destinations, carrying the search from Southern California into Arizona, up the California coast and volcanic north, and into Oregon. Los Angeles remains the home base and departure point for the journey.

The Travel
Every episode begins with going somewhere.
Driving, arriving, walking, resting, and continuing on are part of the season. Each destination creates a different physical and emotional condition for the search.
On the trail, recovery becomes visible through distance, stamina, balance, pace, and the decision to keep moving. Along the road, the series follows the places, people, practices, and rhythms encountered along the way.
Healing becomes something she can move through, one place at a time.
